Those in the know may recall this poem appears in Nearing Narcoma, winner of the 2003 Main Street Rag Poetry Book Award. If you'd like, I can tell you a bit about the history of this poem, as well as share a few thoughts on my manipulation of the sestina form, which, for entertainment value, features a gratuitous car chase through San Francisco & a Paris Hilton cameo.
