If you look in the sidebar, you'll notice that I've recently added a link to an interview that appeared in Main Street Rag's Winter 2004 issue to promote the release of Nearing Narcoma, selected by Joy Harjo as the 2003 Main Street Rag Poetry Book Award winner. Directly under the samples pages link for Nearing Narcoma, you'll see Main Street Rag Interview (Winter 2004). Click it (or here) to read the interview. (You may want to click the opened pages again to enlarge them for reading.) Since the interview is over 20 years old, let me say that the views expressed then may not necessarily reflect my present views, but it's still amusing.

MSR Winter 2004 |
Shortly thereafter, a couple of interviews, via a Q&A with writers feature, appeared in Segue, an e-zine of Miami University, along with several of my poems. I wish I knew how to retrieve those pages, but sadly, Segue has since disappeared, leaving nada trace. (There's a fashion magazine on Tumblr with the same name & the Segue Foundation, also unrelated.) Unfortunately, the magazine Segue was formatted for Adobe Flash, maybe the most ethereal of internet formats, rendering even the Wayback Machine of little help. I'll keep looking. If anyone knows how to access old issues of Segue (the literary zine), please let me know.
